If you lead sales, operations, or HR for a frontline workforce, your teams carry out every promotion, product launch, and safety standard you set. The training behind that work should show up in your results: in sales, in standards kept at every site, and in how fast new hires ramp up and how long they stay.

That belief is why we raised a $40M Series A, led by PeakSpan Capital, bringing our total funding to $55M. We’re using it to build Bites into a platform that connects frontline training to the results it drives and shows you which lessons move your numbers. Training stops being a cost center and becomes a lever for performance.

Why Courses and Logins Leave Your Frontline Teams Behind

An estimated 2.8 billion people, roughly 80% of the global workforce, hold deskless jobs. Most training tools overlook them.

Courses, PDFs, and LMS logins are the standard ways to deliver training. They rely on a corporate email address, a login, and time to access the material. Your teams work shifts away from the head office, and their closest screen is a phone. Every extra login is another barrier between them and the training you created.

Even after your teams get access, more problems remain:

  • Slow creation: Turning one new SOP into a video can take months. You need vendors and a production budget, and the procedure can change before the video ships.
  • Generic videos: Presenter videos show a speaker in a studio, with no link to the stores, kitchens, or floors where your teams work.
  • Language versions: Each team needs the lesson in its own language, so you manage a separate version for each one and repeat the effort with every update.
  • Unanswered questions: When employees have a question after the lesson, there’s no one to ask on the spot, so they escalate to a manager or guess.

Your training system tells you who finished a course. It says nothing about whether sales, guest scores, or turnover changed afterward, because that data lives in other systems and nobody links it to the training.

Why We Built Bites Around Frontline Work

Eran, our CEO, ran seven restaurants before Bites. Every new hire and menu change depended on how fast he could reach the people on the floor. Reaching frontline teams effectively takes a channel they use every day, and for most people that means social media and messaging apps. So we built Bites to bring training to your teams in those formats.

Lessons arrive on WhatsApp, SMS, Microsoft Teams, Slack, or a link. Your teams don’t install an app or log in, and you can see whether a rollout actually reached them. Each lesson, called a Bite, is up to 90 seconds long and includes a video, a question, a summary, and a discussion. That’s short enough to fit into a shift and structured enough to show you whether it landed.

We built the creation side too. AI Studio turns a PDF, SOP, or idea into a branded video in minutes, with your own uniforms, locations, and equipment on screen. One video supports 150+ languages with one-tap switching, so you maintain one version instead of dozens. When something changes, you describe the edit and our AI editing agent makes it, with no editing skills needed. When employees have a question, Ask-AI answers in plain language using only your approved content.

What It Changes for Your Teams

Sales, commercial, operations, and HR leaders at Unilever, Coca-Cola, Shake Shack, Wynn Resorts, The Venetian, and Compass Group use Bites:

  • Commercial leaders use it to make sure every location sells the new launch or promotion correctly from day one.
  • Operations leaders use it to keep service and safety standards consistent across every site and shift.
  • HR leaders use it to get new hires productive faster and give them a reason to stay.

“With Bites, we reached 90%+ engagement and fundamentally changed the way training supports our business and sales performance,” said Doron Zilbershtein, Managing Director at Unilever [confirm region/unit].

The impact continues after the lesson ends. Employees return to lessons through their personal feed and ask questions in plain language. Those questions show managers where a lesson left a gap, so they can fix it before it affects the work.

Where We’re Taking Bites Next

After training reaches your teams, you need to know what it changed in ramp time, errors, turnover, and sales. Bites already connects data from your POS, CRM, ERP, and HCM systems with the learning and engagement data it captures from millions of frontline interactions. [Specify what’s live today.] This funding takes it the rest of the way.

From that combined view, the platform will run a loop:

  • Detect: Bites will spot where performance slips, by site, shift, role, or individual.
  • Create: It will automatically build a targeted, branded video for that gap, without your team having to request it.
  • Deliver: It will send the video to the employees who need it, in their language, on the channel they already use.
  • Prove: It will measure whether the metric moved.

For example, when upsell rates on a new promotion fall behind at a group of your stores, Bites will flag the dip in your sales data. A 60-second coaching video, featuring your own stores and uniforms, will go to those teams in their language. Then you’ll see whether upsell rates improved after the training.

What the $40M Means for You

  • A complete loop: We’re building out detect, create, deliver, and prove, so your training data and your business data work together.
  • A team close to you: We’re growing enterprise sales and customer success in New York, where Eran is relocating to build our U.S. commercial organization.
  • More ways to buy: New partner and reseller channels will make Bites easier to bring into your organization.
  • Expertise in your industry: We’re expanding into banking, insurance, and the extended workforce, while continuing to grow in hospitality, quick-service restaurants, retail, consumer goods, and manufacturing.

Why PeakSpan

PeakSpan invests in B2B software built for efficient, capital-disciplined growth. That matches how we built Bites, with revenue that grows as customers expand their use of the platform. Their diligence dug deep into customer outcomes. Customers they spoke with described how closely Bites fits how their frontline teams work, and the productivity gains that follow.

“We are excited about where Bites is today and where it is headed, and we are privileged to partner with the team,” said Phil Dur, Co-Founder and Managing Partner, PeakSpan Capital.

PeakSpan’s Phil Dur and Charlie Reinkemeyer join our board of directors. Existing investors Vertex Ventures, Horizon Capital, Rittenhouse Ventures, Lyra Ventures, and others also joined the round.

Your Frontline Teams Are Worth the Investment

When you give your employees the knowledge they need, a voice, and a sense that you value them, performance improves and your business runs better. Bites makes that investment visible, so you can back the training that works and fix the training that doesn’t.

Use the ROI calculator to estimate your training’s return, and book a demo to see how Bites works for your teams.
